Apidae-sensu-lato-u 03.05.25-64688-7dProbably inhabited by a Strepsiptera.Actually the bees phylogenetically belong into a subgroup of the subfamily Pemphredoninae of the family Crabronidae MARSHALL3. Marshall describes bees as crabronid wasps having become vegetarian. As the taxonomers have not yet come to a conclusion for the conflicts caused by this, here the Apidae sensu lato are treated as a separate group.
